Description and Goals
Our Whole Lives: Sexuality Education for Kindergarten and first grades is part of the faith formation program at Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation. The program is an 8-week workshop curriculum that helps 5- to 6-year-old children begin the lifelong process of acquiring information and forming attitudes and values about identity and relationship, safety and health. All sessions are for parents and caregivers to attend together with their children. In this manner, VUU and parents/caregivers provide affirming, accurate, and developmentally appropriate sexuality education.
Some additional goals of this course are:


- to help children recognize and appreciate their bodies as good and beautiful, private and special
- to help children gain understanding of and accurate information about human sexuality, reproduction, family diversity, and gender identity
- to help children prepare for the normal changes they will likely experience as they grow and develop

Class schedule: Sunday mornings Feb 8 - April 26, 8:45 - 10:00 am with breaks for:

Cost
Cost for the class is $55. Pledging VUU Members and Friends receive a $15 discount.
